Evan Chandler, the father of Jordy Chandler, has committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. He was 65.
He was found by a concierge at his waterfront apartment in New Jersey on November 5 after he failed to keep a doctor’s appointment. However, news of his death only emerged yesterday.
A police source said: “We have ruled it as suicide because he was found with a gun held to his body. He had a single bullet wound to the side of his head. There was no note but officers did find medication in keeping with a serious medical condition.”
Evan’s claim that Michael had molested his son triggered a media feeding frenzy, as well as a 13-month police probe into every detail of Michael’s life, including a raid on his Neverland Ranch. The case never reached court after Jordy was given an out of court settlement.
Jordy, now 29 and living in Long Island, New York, under an assumed name, had fallen out with his father. He took out a restraining order against him in 1996 claiming his dad had attacked him with a dumbbell weight.
Before the molestation allegations in 1993, Evan Chandler was tape-recorded saying; “If I go through with this, I win big-time. There’s no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever…

Corey Haim died on 10th march !
I am a little concerned because Corey was talking out some tme before…that he got molested as a boy and that Corey feldman knows who it was. After this there were some calming comments from feldman and Haim as well. But from this time I thought that Corey Haim would like to talk out the truth about what happened to him.
In his last video he doesnt look stoned or addicted , more than a person recovering.

I can’t believe Corey Haim died – i had no idea. I knew he had trouble with drugs, and have always thought that all these young famous people who have the world at their feet but instead find it necessary to be depressed and into drugs as they get older, most likely have experienced some kind of trauma. I wonder how he died? i will have a look on the internet…

I dont believe Jordan lied even if his father was or is greedy.

The brother’s book is quoted online, here and there. This is some Very Nasty Stuff! Michael, Why???? It sounds true.
I would like for you and everyone else on this site to look into this book called Redemption by Ms. Geraldine Hughes. She was the legal secretary to the lawyer who represented Evan Chandler the father in the first child molestation allegations back in 93. She knows alot and is in the process of writing a new book called Michaelgate about the Conspiracy Theories. I would rather read her book than look at the other ones because they are nothing but trash. She knew that back in 2004 she had to publish Redemption because the truth was out there. The only problem is that the mainstream media did not believe that Michael Jackson was innocent. He hired a bodyguard to oversee the children when they came to Neverland. Michael never slept with the children, but he slept on the floor of his own home in a sleeping bag. By the way, the bodyguard also slept in a sleeping bag as well. This is the truth and I hope and pray that in this New Year of 2010 she will get the chance to make all of the talk show rounds. People need to know. I blame Mr. Chandler for Michael’s demise particularly because he was old enough to know better. I’m writing Oprah, Joy Bigmouth Behar, The View, and many others to get her on the program. I am sick and tired of the lies. Michael was gettting himself together.
The Rabbi Boteach is a cash cow who only wanted to publish MJ’s business. If Michael were here on today, I would tell him stop telling all of your business to Dr. Klein “Swine” Dermatologist. He was never a true friend to Mr. Jackson at all. He was a bilker and Michael should have gotten rid of him a long time ago period. He lies and talks too much. No one wants or even needs to know your family business. When you are in the limelight, you have to be more cautious. I blame MJ for not being so cautious. Yes, no one is perfect and I like the fact that he never walked around like some of these newer artists do with their pants on the ground. He had alot of dignity.
The only thing about him was that someone who worked with him in the past should have sat him down and told him the truth whether or not he liked it. Some people are not friends they are users. He was too naive and needed help. I love him dearly and know God wanted him because he went through so much. I believe

- i wonder why his family never seemed to intervene? you would think that if you see your son or your brother in trouble or going down the wrong path, you would say something because he is family and you love him.

I am in Germany and maybe its a little different here,
but in general the mainstream media followed and follows the interest of the industry.
And these guys were and are interested in making money on MJ.
So its good to keep him in the news
but not to destroy his image.
The image is the idol.
IF we will know one day that Jordan Chandler said the truth,
than MJ will become a more tragic person, sure.
But nothing ever can bring him down anymore.
He is in the worlds mind and heart.
Even me that I think that he was sexually attracted from boys,
that he lied a lot,
that he was so egocentric that he could be cruel, also to children
etc…
I love his music and dancing
and still I feel warm sympathy and some closeness.

It would have made more sense for a “crazy fan”,[don't kill anybody] to have killed Evan’s brother. His book “All That Glitters” is the most insider story of Jordan and Michael, that I know of.
I think it would be enough if he got a lot of threats .
The police cant take care about him all the time.
So maybe they tried it this way.
For me it was a hint that TMZ said they will research and write about it. But nothing until today.
Also not from magazines,newspaper, TV …nothing.

Thats a strange thing.
It was once reported , then copied from many newspapers, blogs, fanpages etc ( just TMZ not) … but never confirmed again !

maybe Evan Chandler really had to fear for his life, now when MJ was dead and his crazy fan-army needed a scapegoat again. So they tried to call him dead….
