Michael Jackson’s 30th Anniversary Special
In November 2001, CBS aired a two-hour special in honor of Michael Jackson’s thirtieth year as a solo entertainer. The special was composed of footage of two separate concerts Michael performed in September at Madison Square Garden in New York which sold out in a matter of hours. The best seats cost $5,000 and included a dinner with Michael, who reportedly earned a total of $15 million for both concerts. Michael’s Plastic Surgeon Speaks Out
Michael’s plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven Hoefflin, is conducting an independent investigation into Michael’s death. He is suspicious of the circumstances surrounding Michael’s death and believes he was left to die. He told The Sun Newspaper: “Michael was incredibly desperate to get to sleep. Here’s a short video about Michael’s changing appearance. It raises an interesting point about vitiligo, the skin disorder with which Michael was afflicted; It claims that vitiligo can be caused by stong emotional shock, which made us wonder about the link between this and Michael’s childhood. Dr Conrad Murray Might Be Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter

In 1983, Michael cut a $5 million sponsorship deal with Pepsi, making it the largest sponsorship deal between a company and an entertainer at the time. During the shooting of one of the two commercials for the new Pepsi campaign “The Choice of a New Generation” on 27th January 1984, Michael was seriously injured in an pyrotechnic accident.
