As the investigation progresses and the authorities close in on the chain of events that led to Michael’s death, Dr Conrad Murray, the man at the centre of the investigation into Michael’s death, was charged with involuntary manslaughter on February 8, 2010.
Murray pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on $75,000 bail. The judge told him he was allowed to keep practicing medicine but was not allowed to sedate anyone.
So far, the investigation has revealed holes in both Murray’s statements and in the timeline surrounding Michael’s death.
The question everyone is now asking is: is Dr Conrad Murray covering up evidence and lying about what really happened?
Police are now saying that Murray, after administering that final dose of the powerful sedative Propofol to Michael, most likely left him alone for approximately 73 minutes, and not the two minutes he has claimed.
Let’s have a look at what we know about the timeline:
10.50am: Murray administers Propofol to Michael, then leaves him alone to go to the bathroom.
At some point, Murray returns to Michael’s room and finds him not breathing. He begins CPR. Murray claims he left Michael alone for 2 minutes.
11:54am: Murray leaves a voicemail for another patient, Bob Russell. In the voicemail, Murray sounds calm and collected.
12.00pm: It has been reported that Murray made another call, this time to his girlfriend in Houston shortly after noon, but this call has not been confirmed as yet.
12:21pm: Murray calls 911
Given the discrepancies in the timeline, it is now being said that Dr. Conrad Murray may have hidden and tried to cover up the means by which Michael died.
Let’s have a look at what is said to have happened:
Michael received his final, fatal dose of Propofol through an IV in his leg, and Murray told police he only administered 2.5ml, which is a very small amount.
But Dr. John Dombrowski, a noted anesthesiologist who reviewed the LAPD file for detectives, has stated that 2.5ml would not be enough to even put someone to sleep, let alone kill them.
The autopsy report, however, notes the level of Propofol found in Michael was equivalent to what is found in “general anesthesia for major surgery.”
A small, empty, 20 ml bottle of Propofol was found in the bedroom, but a secret compartment was found in a nearby closet which contained numerous bottles of Propofol.
Amongst them, a large, empty, 100ml bottle with a large tear in the rubber stopper was found. A tear in the stopper is made in order to connect an entire bottle of Propofol to an IV.
If this is done, the doctor must use an infusion pump to regulate the flow of Propofol, in order to prevent the patient from overdosing. There was no infusion pump found.
The police believe Dr. Murray may have used the 100ml bottle, then either tried regulating the flow either by just watching it, or letting it flow by itself.
Either way, Dr. Murray admitted to leaving Michael unattended by going to the bathroom at some point.
If Dr. Murray did indeed put the full 100ml bottle into Michael’s bloodstream, that would be 40 times more Propofol than he told authorities he administered.
Murray is due to return to court on April 5 for a preliminary hearing which will reveal for the first time the evidence the prosecution believes will demonstrate how his “gross negligence” was the direct cause of the Michael’s death. If convicted, he could face up to four years in prison.

The book is as I understand it, about “Despiar” and accepting it. so I’am told. Its a sad story.
The “Catcher in The Rye” is the book that has been found in the pockets or car/homes, of several VIP.& Celeb. assassins, like the John Lennon shooting. It is said to be used by MK-ultra.
ah! i see! i read it years ago and found it a great read but must confess to not really understanding it.
If my husband told some of his friends to go hide something, just three hours before I found out that he had a mistress, or did something against the law. I would know something was wrong! how silly is this?
it’s noo good, i’ts noo good. murray will never tell us everything. he is simply the a pawn of the game. bad game.
The truth will come out one way or the other. It will not get covered up and the whole incident eventually swept under the carpet and forgotten.
Good research, it is getting more and more like a political Hit!!! The camera was broken that day. The Doctor used 40 times more than he said he used. The Doctor is not in Jail, and is even practicing medicine. The whole thing will go away softly, and not solved one way or the other, if it is a political “hit”. But why? I will be looking for the Doctor to be a fan of “Catcher in the Rye”.

Dr. Murray’s Storage Unit — Files May Hold Clue
Posted Jul 27th 2009 10:15AM by TMZ Staff
We’ve learned the two women who went to a Houston storage facility the day Michael Jackson died and removed boxes had rented the facility just months earlier, in the name of their employer — Dr. Conrad Murray. The owners of the facility say the two women filled out a contract on April 1, 2009. They rented a unit in the name of Dr. Conrad Murray’s medical practice. Dr. Murray’s credit card was used to pay the rent for the unit. The unit contained boxes, furniture and other items. The two women arrived at 9:22 AM Los Angeles time — 3 hours before the 911 call from Jackson’s home. The women took 3 – 5 boxes though we do not know what was inside. The facility has a surveillance camera, but it was broken that day.

Another Storage Unit Rented by Jackson Doc
Posted Aug 3rd 2009 8:00AM by TMZ Staff
We’ve learned Dr. Conrad Murray has a storage unit in Las Vegas — and there seems to be a growing connection between the doctor’s storage rentals in Vegas and Houston. Dr. Murray has a 10×20 unit at a Public Storage facility in Las Vegas. We’ve learned an employee of Dr. Murray’s came to the unit as recently as July 30 with Dr. Murray’s credit card number on a piece of paper and paid the rental fee. We do not know if items were removed or stored at that time. Dr. Murray missed the July 15 deadline to make payment and he was charged a late fee. We’re told one of the four people authorized on Dr. Murray’s behalf to come and go at the facility is Stacey Howe — someone who figured prominently when Dr. Murray’s Houston storage unit was raided last month. Federal agents seized correspondence addressed to Stacey Howe, and we’re told the agents asked the manager of the storage facility if she knew of Howe. When agents raided Dr. Murray’s Houston medical practice, they seized two Yahoo e-mails from Stacey Howe. Law enforcement believes Dr. Murray may have had Propofol — the drug they believe killed Michael Jackson — stored in the various storage units for shipment to the singer, though as far as we know they do not have proof … at least not yet. We do not know if the Vegas storage unit has been searched pursuant to a warrant.

Brian,
I found this on the Hollywood Gossip site (http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2009/07/dr-conrad-murray-investigated-for-manslaughter-michael-jackson-death-timeline/):
” Dr. Conrad Murray Investigated For Manslaughter; Michael Jackson Death Timeline Questioned
July 24th, 2009 3:19 PM
In an incredible twist just one month after Michael Jackson’s death on June 25, police arrived armed with a search warrant authorizing seizure of documents at a storage locker in Houston belonging to the star’s personal physician.
Law enforcement is hunting for “items constituting evidence of the offense of manslaughter that show Dr. Conrad Murray committed said criminal offense.”
Bizarre findings in the investigation into Jackson’s death have shed new light on the timeline of his passing and Conrad Murray’s odd actions around that time.
Authorities believe Jackson died from an overdose of the powerful anesthesia Propofol, and that Murray may have administered it (he has not been charged).
Dr. Murray called 911 at 12:21 p.m. PST, and says he found Jackson in distress a half hour earlier. But Dr. Murray’s employees made a trip to a Houston storage facility at 9:22 a.m. PST, raising all sorts of questions about what happened.
The storage facility manager says two women picked up 3-5 boxes and became nervous when the manager began questioning them about why they were there.
Also, authorities are keenly interested in talking to a woman named Stacey Howe who is in some way connected to Dr. Conrad Murray’s medical practice.
During this week’s Houston DEA raid of his office, federal agents seized two “Yahoo emails from Stacey Howie (sic).” In the raid of Dr. Murray’s storage unit, the agents seized “correspondence addressed to Stacey Howe.”
Howe is connected to Dr. Conrad Murray’s Las Vegas medical practice.
Several items seized at Murray’s Houston office where related to “Pamphlets on Sleep Center.” The Sleep Center is located near Doctor’s Hospital in Houston.
Dr. Murray was suspended from Doctor’s Hospital – allegedly for not completing medical records in a timely fashion. All of these revelations, plus incriminating statements Murray himself made, make criminal charges likely…”
What happened to the call to have some one go to his [the doctor's] storage locker? At first it was 5 hrs. before Michael died, but later it was 3hrs. [time zone correction?] did this information prove to be false?
